The Beauty #2: Things get ugly

The Beauty is surely a very creative series. It's story revolves around two detectives investigating an STD that makes people beautiful. But things are not perfect because as the couple discovers on this second issue, people infected with 'the beauty' may be exploding, and that's not good.

This issue was good enough, but not as great as the first one. It was slower, and besides the detectives discovering about the explosions, and the reader learning about the secrets behind the scenes, the issue wasn't as compelling as the first. But as I said, it was good enough to keep me interested on the series, and I wonder where the next issues will take us.

If you enjoy an original idea, filled with mystery and investigation, The Beauty is a good and promising series.
