Judging by its cover: The Harvest (The Heartland Trilogy #3) by Chuck Wendig

"You can't judge a book by its cover". This is one of the sayings that sure most readers end up doing without even realizing it. The reason for it is easy to imagine: the cover is usually the first thing we see (or know) about a book. We don't read the synopsis or summary without seeing the cover first, and even when someone recommends a book and you go search for more info you end up seeing the cover.

Regardless of the book being good or not, and that we base (or not) our reading interest by it, the point is that the cover is always something that can generate interest. And that's the case of a new book released this week: The Harvest

I loved the cover and, of course, I went to search for more information about this trilogy. It's a dystopic ( =/ ) steampunk ( :D ), that has sci-fi and fantasy elements ( =DD ). The premise is basically about a rebellion against a government that only allows corn to be planted, and that lives on sky flotillas while the workers try to survive on land. After the release of this last book on the trilogy, I'll search for reviews and decide if I'll read it. Looks very interesting!
